Contributing Incentives for Online Communities
This research paper explains our findings from surveying over 500 online community participants from several large technical communities. The goal of the research was to find out why participants contribute freely to online communities and what can be done to incentive participants to contribute quality content. The findings are applicable to all community managers who would like to increase community contributions and the quality of their community’s contributions.

Recruiting in Virtual Worlds – How It Can Be Successful
This paper details what companies have done, are currently doing, and plan to do to recruit in virtual worlds. Also, a review of all the current virtual worlds is included and reports which ones recruiters should use for their recruiting initiatives. The findings from our research allows product companies to find out what needs to be in place before recruiting in virtual worlds before recruiting efforts can truly be optimal. Also, this paper gives suggestions for recruiters who are planning their virtual world strategy and describes how to best execute their strategies in virtual worlds. Costs of a virtual world campaign and product creation are also included in this paper.

his paper details how companies can use auction systems in addition to their job board to improve recruiting practices. The paper describes the success that different universities have had with their implementation of an auction system.
